If you only have a few hours, a quick loop that starts at Tagore Hill, heads to Ranchi Lake, and then ends at Pahari Mandir keeps you within 35 km total and lets you see a waterfall on the way Jonha Falls is just a 40 km detour that fits in about an hour each way. If you need a quick place to grab a bite or freshen up, Capital O The Jumar is only about 4 km from the village.
