Budget accommodation options near Sri Varahaswami Temple for a couple

Ketaki Mann · 2 weeks ago ·17 replies

We’re a couple planning to visit the Sri Varahaswami Temple in Tirumala and want to keep costs low. The temple itself has no entry fee and is open all day, so we’re mainly looking at lodging. Which nearby hotels offer the best value for couples, and how far are they from the temple? Also, are there cheap transport options from Tirupati Airport to the temple?

If you’re staying in the city centre, HAYATHI INN is only 0.05 km from the temple, so you can walk in a few minutes. From Tirupati Airport the cheapest way is a local bus or shared taxi that takes about 30 40 minutes; the bus stops right outside the airport and you can catch a taxi from there to the temple.

Hotel Sindhuri Park is only about 0.2 km from the temple, so you can walk in a few minutes. From Tirupati Airport you can catch a local bus that runs every 10 15 minutes; it drops you near the city centre and you can then take a short auto taxi or walk to the temple. This gives a cheap and quick link between the airport and the shrine.

If you’re staying at HAYATHI INN you’ll be right next to the temple just a 30 second walk. From the airport the city bus that stops at the main bus stand takes about 30 40 minutes; once there, a short auto ride of roughly five minutes will drop you directly outside the temple. This keeps both lodging and travel costs low.

If you’re looking for a simple, budget stay that still keeps you within walking distance, HAYATHI INN is only about 50 meters from the temple. The rooms are basic but clean, and the front desk can arrange a short auto ride from the airport if you need one.
