A good spot is the eastern side of the courtyard right before sunrise. The sun will hit the carved panels from the side, creating a natural rim light that highlights the gold leaf without harsh glare. From there you can frame the full dome in the background while the courtyard remains empty. If you’re staying at the Lemon Tree Hotel Rajkot, you can walk straight to that spot from the parking lot in about five minutes.
