If you’re staying at Polo Orchid Resort in Cherrapunji, you can start early at Dawki to cross the 1932 bridge and visit the nearby museum. After that, head back to the resort for a quick break before driving about an hour to the living root bridges, then a short walk to Mawlynnong. This way you cover the river history, the iconic root bridge, and the village all in one day.
