If you want a spot that’s a bit farther from the usual Kaziranga crowds but still close to Majuli, Cygnett Inn Imperial in Tezpur is about 105 km from Kheroni. The town sees fewer day tourists, so the kids can roam nearby villages and bamboo groves without the usual bustle. The hotel’s pool also keeps them entertained while you plan the island visit.
