You might also want to stop at the small kiosk right after the tunnel they sell fresh coconut water and quick snacks that keep the kids energized before you hit the beach. After a swim at Varkala Beach, a short walk takes you to Papanasam’s quieter sands, ideal for an evening sunset. If you’re staying nearby, Villa Luca By Elixir Cliff is under a kilometre from the tunnel and gives easy beach access.
