If you’re staying at Vishnu Lok near Dehradun Railway Station, the train drop off is just a short walk from the hotel. From there you can catch a quick 10 minute taxi or a local bus straight to Simtola, keeping the kids together and avoiding extra luggage transfers. The taxi fare from the station is around ₹4,400 5,000 one way, which is cheaper than a full cab from city centre. This setup saves you a few minutes of travel time and keeps the route simple for a family group.
