If you want to see the zoo before the temple, aim to finish the Napier Museum around 10:30 am. The zoo closes at noon, so you can stroll through and then walk the short 15 minute route to the temple. Staying at Vivanta Thiruvananthapuram keeps all three sites within a half kilometre, so you can keep the day tight and avoid traffic.
