Mehtab Bagh’s viewing deck is open from 5 am until sunset, but the early morning light gives the gardens a quieter, more intimate feel. By sunset the number of visitors rises, yet it still stays less packed than the Taj Mahal’s main entrance. If you’re staying near the monument, the 24 hour slot lets you catch the garden in a calm mood before the crowds grow.
