A single day can cover Gandhi Beach, Promenade Beach and the Aurobindo Ashram if you start early, since the Ashram is only a three kilometre walk from the beach. If you want a relaxed second day, staying at The Sunway Manor keeps you within a kilometre of the promenade, so you can hop in a cab to Paradise Beach in about 30 minutes from the airport without a separate day trip.
