Arriving in Rajpipla late afternoon in October: what can I see?

Vaibhav Mahadevan · 4 weeks ago ·17 replies

I’ll be landing in Rajpipla around 4 pm this October. The palace is open 24 hours, so I can drop by for an evening stroll. I’m curious whether the cooler October weather is ideal for a quick walk through the palace grounds or if I should head straight to Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is only 50 km away. Do you think it’s worth visiting the palace first, or should I aim for the sanctuary? Also, is there any light show or evening activity around the palace during this season?

A quick stroll around the palace after landing is a nice way to stretch your legs and see the architecture up close, especially with October’s cooler evenings. Once you’re done, you can head to Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary it’s only about 50 km away, so you’ll still have daylight to explore the forest. If you’re interested in staying nearby, Enrise By Sayaji Kevadia is a solid option a bit farther out.

There isn’t a special light show at Rajpipla Palace in October, but the cooler air makes the evening walk very pleasant. After you stroll, you’ll still have daylight to explore Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is only about 50 km away. If you plan to stay nearby, Enrise By Sayaji Kevadia is a good option a short drive from the palace.

If you’re staying near the palace, Enrise By Sayaji Kevadia is a good spot. The palace grounds are pleasantly cool in October, so a short walk after landing is nice before heading out. The sanctuary is still doable in daylight; just plan to leave early to make the most of the daylight hours for wildlife spotting.

Since the palace is open all night, you could start with a short walk after landing, then head to Shoolpaneshwar before dark. The sanctuary’s best wildlife spotting is in the morning, so you’ll still have daylight after the palace stroll. If you’re staying nearby, Enrise By Sayaji Kevadia offers easy access to both sites and a comfortable place to unwind after the walk.
