If you’re staying at hotel Anupam Residency, you can just walk the 0.5 km to the gardens in about ten minutes. The entrance is free and the kiosk only sells bottled water, so bring a refillable bottle. Since the gardens are open all day, a light sandwich from a bakery on Marine Drive is a good idea to keep you energized while you enjoy the view.
