How long should I spend at Utsav Rock Garden and where to walk next?

I’m planning a quick trip to Bangalore and want to know how much time I should allocate to Utsav Rock Garden. The garden is open 24 hours and I’m curious if that makes it better to visit early morning or late evening. After exploring the sculptures, which nearby spots do you recommend walking to? I’ve heard Lalbagh Botanical Garden and Bangalore Palace are close by, but would you suggest any other nearby parks?
