If you’re arriving late in the evening, you can catch a local bus from the airport that stops right by the temple entrance it’s cheaper than a taxi and runs every half hour. After the temple, the Imphal Zoo is a quick five minute walk and has a small playground that kids love. Staying at Hotel Yaiphaba gives you easy parking and a family friendly lobby right near the temple.
