If you’re looking for a cheap overnight stay near Deomali, the nearest budget options are actually in Araku Valley. A place like Vana Resort is about 12 km away and has basic rooms that fit a tight budget. From there you can hike up to Deomali early in the morning and return before dark, keeping transport costs low. If you prefer staying right in the valley, the Casa Woods Resort @ Araku Valley offers a few rooms at a reasonable price and is close to the coffee plantations, so you get both scenery and a cheap base.
