If you want a quick break between the long drives, consider staying a night at Regenta Resort Madhuganga Ukhimath on day two after the Kedarnath Madhyamaheshwar loop. The resort is only a kilometre from the main gate, so you can leave early for Tungnath at sunrise and still have plenty of daylight for the Chopta trek before heading back to Ukhimath.
