If you’re staying near Rupnagar, Hotel Sarai Bharatgarh is a convenient base. From the railway station you can hop on the local bus heading toward the fort; it stops right at the entrance and takes about five minutes. While walking up the ramparts, keep an eye out for the small shrine with the bronze Guru Gobind Singh statue many visitors skip it. Afterward, a quick stroll to Ramgarhia Bagh park gives a nice break before heading back.
