You might want to check the daily market on the main road in Kusumgram they sell freshly made mishti doi, shorshe ilish, and a few stalls that serve kathi rolls with a Bengali twist. A quick walk to the market usually gets you a good bite without too much travel. If you’re cautious, stick to stalls that keep the food covered and watch for vendors who cook in front of you. It’s generally fine for solo travelers, just keep an eye on your belongings.
