Dal Lake is great if you want a quick, scenic drive and a relaxed paddle. If you have a full day, heading to Gulmarg lets you explore the meadows and maybe try a cable way ride. The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa is a solid base if you decide to stay overnight in the hills. Either way, the drive from Kongdori takes about 30 minutes to the lake and roughly an hour to Gulmarg, so you can fit both if you’re up for it.
