If you want a quieter stay but still close enough for early glacier views, consider a room at ARCO Hotels And Resorts Sonmarg. It’s a bit farther from the Sindh River than some other options, but the hotel’s higher rating and 4 star status usually mean better room amenities and a more peaceful atmosphere. The drive to Thajiwas Glacier is still only about four and a half kilometers, so you’ll get the best of both worlds.
