A quick 30 minute detour to Pobitora is worth it if you’re keen on seeing the rhinos and a nice river valley. From there you can hop straight to the Borail bus stop and still hit the sanctuary before midnight. If you’d rather settle after the drive, the Borail View Regency is only about 13 km away and offers a comfortable base for the next day.
