A good slot is early morning around 7 am, especially in December or January, when temperatures are still mild and the crowds thin. That gives you about an hour and a half to explore the caves and then walk the roughly 1 km to Juhu Beach, arriving in time for a relaxed sunset around 6:30. If you stay at The International by Tunga, the walk is just a few minutes from the hotel.
