A good way to squeeze all three spots in one day is to stay at Vishnu Lok near Dehradun Railway Station. From there you can hit Lacchiwala first, then head to Robber’s Cave, and finish at Sahastradhara before sunset. The waterfall still runs well in early September, especially after the monsoon, so starting early keeps you out of the midday heat.
