If you can stretch a bit, try leaving Yuksom around 5 pm so you arrive at Dubdi just after sunset. The light on the murals deepens the gold accents, and the monastery’s quiet atmosphere lets you spot the old bronze bell that locals say came from Lhasa. Afterward, a short drive to The Elgin Mount Pandim Pelling gives you a nice view of the valley before heading back to Yuksom.
