If you’re staying at Treebo Rock Valley, you can hit the mosque right after the evening prayers around 7 pm. The light then is soft, the temperature is under 20 °C, and the stone carvings stand out without the noon glare. That slot also keeps the crowd smaller than mid afternoon.

September is still a good choice the forest is lush and the waterfall runs nicely after the rains. If you want to hit Robber’s Cave and Sahastradhara the same day, start early; the drive from Lacchiwala to Robber’s Cave is about 40 minutes, then another 30 to Sahastradhara. Staying at Vishnu Lok near the railway station keeps you close to the city centre and gives quick access to the hill roads.

September still sees plenty of clear mornings, so if you want the best light on the mountain ridges, head out before dawn. If you prefer a quieter prayer session, arriving around midday works fine the crowds usually swell later. If you’re staying at Hotel O POP Foreshore Resort, the temple is just a short drive away, so you can hop out early and return by lunch.
