Where can we grab kid-friendly food at Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park?

Dominic Date · 6 days ago ·13 replies

My family is planning a visit to the zoo in Tirupati and we’re a bit worried about food options for the kids. The park is open all day, so we’re hoping there’s a cafeteria or snack stall inside. If there aren’t enough choices, are there any nearby places within a few kilometres that cater well to families?

The zoo has a small cafeteria near the main entrance that serves sandwiches, fruit cups and a few snack bars. If you need more variety, there’s a family friendly bistro called “Tirupati Diner” about 1.5 km from the park. It’s popular for quick meals and has a kids’ corner with crayons and coloring books.

If you’re staying near the zoo, you might also check out the small food court on the south side of the park. They serve fresh fruit smoothies and a few hot snack options that kids usually like. Also, the “Tirupati Diner” has a kids’ menu with mini pizzas and chicken nuggets, so it’s a convenient spot if you need a quick, family friendly meal. Are you planning to bring your own snacks or would you prefer to rely on the on site options?

You might also find a small stall near the eastern gate that sells dosas and fresh coconut water. It’s a quick spot if the kids get hungry between animal shows.

If you’re looking for a quick sit down spot after the shows, the small food court on the south side of the park has a dedicated kids’ table where they can choose from the smoothies or hot snacks without having to wait in line. It’s a good place to let the little ones relax before heading back to the zoo.
