The temple is only about 15 km from Raipur, so a short drive from Hukam’s Lalit Mahal will let you spend most of your day there. A quick walk around the courtyard will also show the 1650 stone slab and the 1662 copper plaque both key to understanding the Maratha patronage that kept the shrine alive through the 18th century conflicts. If you’re in Raipur, the local bus route to Banjari stops right outside the temple, making it easy to hop off and explore. Have you checked the timing of the Ashadha fair to plan your visit?
