If you’re only looking to hit the peaks and a couple of estates, a three day trip works fine. Start day one with an early morning coffee walk that opens at 7am, then head to Mullayanagiri around 9am so you’re back by noon. On day two, visit the wildlife sanctuary first thing, then spend the afternoon at Baba Budangiri. Staying at Hotel Aadrika keeps you a kilometre from both the town centre and the trekking routes, so you can drop by the estate or the sanctuary on short drives.
