Any nearby attractions to visit while passing through Nandankanan?

Navneet Kaur · 1 month ago ·20 replies

I’m driving through the Botanical Garden of Nandankanan and wondering what else I can see without taking a detour. The garden is part of the Nandankanan Zoological Park, so I’ve already got wildlife covered. What other spots are within a 20‑km radius that are worth a quick stop?

If you’re staying or passing near the city, a quick stop at Hotel Midland Yard gives a nice break and you can grab a coffee or a quick bite before heading back to the park. It’s only about two kilometres away, so you can fit it in without leaving the 20 km radius.

You could head over to the Lingaraj Temple, which is only about ten kilometres from the Botanical Garden. It’s a historic site with a big open courtyard and a nice spot to stretch your legs before you get back on the road.

If you’re already near the park, a quick drive to the Lingaraj Temple is a good option. It sits about ten kilometres away and has a large open courtyard that’s great for a short stretch and a quick coffee break.
