If you’re heading out early, you might want to check the local bus timetable for the night before. A bus from Dehradun to Rudraprayag usually departs around 5 pm, letting you arrive in time for the 6 am sunrise. Staying a night in Rudraprayag at Himalayan Comforts keeps you close, and the final 20 25 km to Bright End Corner is a quick auto ride. Late November to February usually gives the clearest, most vivid colors.
