If you’re staying at Ashok Villa, the walk is only about ten minutes. A mid morning slot on a Tuesday or Wednesday keeps the place almost empty, and you still catch the evening lights without the Sunday rush. If you prefer a slightly later visit, try 3 pm on a weekday crowds usually start building around 4 pm on weekends.
