If you only have one day, plan to leave Paderu before 7 am. After a quick coffee plantation stop, you’ll reach Araku by 9 am, spend a couple of hours there, then hop into a taxi for the 30 km to Borra Caves that takes about an hour. The caves close around 4 pm, so you’ll be back in time for dinner. If you want a comfortable base for a return trip, Casa Woods Resort @ Araku Valley is conveniently located near the main road.
