If you want to save even more, you can take the city bus that departs every hour from Udaipur Airport to Ranakpur; it stops right outside the temple and the fare is just a few rupees. After you’re done, a shared auto from the same stop will drop you back to the airport for a low price. For a budget stay close to the temple, the WelcomHeritage Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat is only about three kilometres away and offers simple rooms without breaking the bank.
