If you’re staying near the city centre, the Sheel Mahal hotel is only about half a kilometre from the palace, so you can hop out early and return before the afternoon heat. A short walk from Jantar Mantar takes you straight to Albert Hall Museum, where the guided tour usually covers the main galleries before the sun climbs higher.
