A good spot after the temple is Kangla Fort it’s free and has wide lawns where kids can run around and see the old watchtowers. From Imphal Airport a short taxi ride of about fifteen minutes drops you right near the temple area. If you’re looking for a place to stay within a kilometre, Hotel Yaiphaba is a comfortable family friendly option.
