A good option is to hit the lighthouse around 5:30 am for the sunrise and then walk to Mandvi Beach by mid morning. If you’re staying near Dhokamale, the Kokanwadi Resort has a nice café on the way that’s worth a quick stop before you head to the lighthouse. From the airport or bus stand, an auto rickshaw drop off near the lighthouse is about 10 15 minutes, and the 2 km walk to the beach takes roughly 20 minutes. Arriving at the beach by 10 am gives you plenty of daylight to explore the shoreline before the heat peaks.
