If you’re looking for a quieter spot but still close to the bus stand, the RS Sarovar Portico Palampur sits about 33 km from the temple. From there a cab takes roughly 45 minutes, so you can still catch the evening flame. The hotel’s garden is nice for a late night break before heading out.
