If you’re looking for something even closer than the Khliehriat waterfall, the little village of Mualawng is only about ten kilometres away. It has a hilltop viewpoint that gives a quick panoramic shot of the valleys, and a small tea shop where you can grab a bite before heading back. The whole round trip takes under an hour, so it fits nicely into a half day stop.
