If you’re only looking for a quick stop, you can catch a local auto from the Roorkee railway station that takes you straight to the main gate it’s about a five minute ride. Once inside, the main shrine is open 24 hours, so you can get a blessing quickly. The langar kitchen serves a simple vegetarian thali that’s free for everyone; no sign up is needed. If you have a bit more time and want a place to rest afterwards, the Ambrosia Sarovar Portico in Haridwar is about 11 km away and offers decent rooms.
