If you’re only able to spare a few hours, consider a quick coffee at Courtyard Raipur before heading to Sirpur. The temple complex is compact, so you can walk the main stupas in about two hours and still return before dark. If you can stretch to a half day, a brief stop at Kanger’s visitor centre first thing in the morning gives a taste of wildlife without the full drive.
