If you’re in a hurry, the tea estate just outside the town centre offers a 15 minute walk and a terrace café where you can sip Assam straight from the leaves. For the Kaziranga detour, a 20 km round trip takes roughly three to four hours, so you can squeeze a short jeep safari and still hit the bus station before nightfall. If you need a quick bite after the park, the Kaziranga Golf Resort in Jorhat is a convenient spot to refuel.
