A good rule is to shoot when the tide is low; the exposed rock at the base of the cliffs gives a clean horizon and extra texture. Plan to arrive about 30 minutes before sunset, then move a few feet up the cliff edge to capture the sun sinking behind the Ghats. A 24 70mm zoom with a polariser and a light tripod will let you keep the sea and cliff sharp in the lower light. If you’re staying nearby, Villa Luca By Elixir Cliff is under a kilometre away, so you can set up early without a long walk. TravelIndiaDeals may earn a commission if you book through this link.
