If you only have a day, aim for an early start the falls are most impressive in the first light. After a quick trek to the falls, head back toward the main road and take a short walk along the river to spot some local wildlife. From there you can drive to the nearby Corbett National Park visitor centre; the park’s entrance is about 20 25 minutes away, so you’ll still have time for a quick lunch before heading back. If you’re willing to stretch a bit farther, the lake in Nainital is roughly an hour’s drive from Corbett, but you’d need to sacrifice a lot of time at the falls. A stay at The Den Corbett would keep you close to the falls and the park entrance.
