Both sites are roughly a half hour drive from Tada, so staying at PPH Living KVR Residency keeps the travel time short. If you’re planning a full day, you might start at Nelapattu around 9 am to catch the early heron activity, then head to Pulicat for a pedal boat ride after lunch. A lightweight binocular set can help the kids spot the birds from the water, and the visitor centre at Nelapattu has a small café if you need a quick snack before heading out.
