If you’re aiming for a sharp horizon, shoot at the very first light after sunrise when the sky is still a pale blue and the cliffs just start to glow. That’s usually about fifteen to twenty minutes after the sun appears. A 24 70mm zoom with a polariser works well for both the sea and the cliff line, and a light tripod lets you keep the exposure steady as the light fades. If you’re staying near the cliff, Villa Luca By Elixir Cliff is only a kilometre away, so you can set up early without a long walk.
