If you only have a single day, start early to hit the bird sanctuary at sunrise, then head to Kirti Mandir and finish at the beach for sunset. On a second day you could stroll the local market around 4 pm and maybe visit the free Gandhi Museum for deeper context. Staying a night at The Fern Residency keeps you within a short walk of the beach and the sanctuary, making the evening walk hassle free.
