You might try a morning at Pulicat to catch the flamingos on the lake, then head to Nelapattu in the afternoon for a quieter guided walk. The sanctuary’s 458 hectare wetlands have more nesting sites for kids to learn about bird habits, while Pulicat’s larger water body offers pedal boat rides that let the whole family see birds from a different angle. If you want a single stay that keeps both places nearby, PPH Living KVR Residency in Tada is a good base.
