If you want to keep the drive short, start at Mahalakshmi Temple, walk east to Rankala Lake for the sunset, then head north to Panhala Fort. After the fort, you can walk back to the temple and check in at Hotel Atharv for easy access to the rest of the city. This route keeps the longest leg at the end of the day.
