A 24mm wide angle lens works great from the front tees of the 18th green; it pulls the palace into frame without stepping onto the green. The staff usually allow lightweight rigs like a monopod or small tripod on the perimeter, but large tripods are prohibited on the greens. If you’re staying nearby, the President Hotel is just a kilometre away and has convenient parking for a quick break. Will you be shooting in daylight or low light conditions?
