September mornings at Natha Top are usually clear, but afternoon showers can start around 3 pm and last a couple of hours. It’s a good idea to bring a waterproof bag and a light jacket. If you’re heading from Srinagar, a shared taxi on the Gurez road is the most common choice, but a private car lets you pause at viewpoints like the Khaplu Palace en route. If you need a place to stay nearby, The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa in Gulmarg is highly rated.
